Ph.D. Students

We have openings for Ph.D. students. The ideal candidate should have background in Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials, Chemical Engineering or related fields with interest in one or more of the following areas:

• Bioprinting
• 3D Printing
• Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials (carbon nanotube forests and CNT-polymer composites)
• Tissue engineering (cardiac and stem cell)
• Mechanics of materials (experimental and modeling)
• Applications of nanomaterials as actuators and sensors

MS. Students

We have immediate openings in all of our projects for current MTU MS students with a strong background in solid mechanics/materials/tissue engineering. Interested candidates should contact Dr. Abadi with their CV and cover letter.
